Salam sejahtera untuk semua pembaca blog sya. Kali ini saya tulis dalam versi Bahasa Malaysia pula. Sememangnya ramai di antara kita yang berpendapat bahawa kerja memotong/potong pokok adalah suatu kerja yang mudah, namun ia sebenarnya bukan semudah yang kita sangkakan kerana ia memerlukan kemahiran dan teknik supaya tidak berlaku kemalangan yang tidak diingini.
Kali ini kontraktor UTM Johor Bahru telah menyewa/sewa skylift saya untuk kerja memotong/potong pokok. Pokok-pokok itu bukan main besarnya dan tingginya boleh mencecah 20m. Langkah pertama yang menguji kemahiran ialah cara parking skylift supaya tidak terlalu dekat atau di bawah dahan pokok yang cenderung untuk tumbang. Bukan saja cara parking, cara memotong juga menguji kemahiran. Tukang potong kena berada di arah yang bertentangan dengan arah dahan pokok condong supaya dahan itu tidak jatuh menimpa dirinya ataupun skylift yang dinaikinya. Selain daripada itu, tali juga digunakan untuk menarik dahan kayu supaya ia jatuh ke arah yang selamat. Walau bagaimanapun, satu risiko untuk skylift ialah habuk kayu yang masuk boom mungkin akan menyebabkan boom 'jam', jadi adalah menjadi tanggungjawab operator skylift supaya parking skylift dalam jarak yang selamat dan cuba elakkan boom daripada menghala lebih daripada 60 darjah. How Height Actually a 15m Skylift can go?

Good evening to all of my blog readers. Today i want to share a rule of thumb instead of job which might beneficial to many people. I think a lot of people might want to know how height is 15m skylift actually can go? The answer is pretty simple, it can go 15m height!! Hahah.

But practically, sometimes we actually don't know what size of skylift need to be rented to suit the particular job height in order to minimize the rental cost. By simply seeing the building for example, actually one quite difficult to predict the height of the building unless you are experience guy. This article is to introduce a rule of thumb of calculating a building's height.

The rule of thumb goes like this;
 Multi-storey shop = 12ft/storey
Let say four storey shop building the height should be = 12ft x 4 storeys= 48ft
Convert 15m skylift to feet = 15m x 3.28ft = 49.2ft >48ft
Thus, the 15m skylift actually can reach 4 storeys height building, so one could rent a 15m skylift for the job up to 48ft or 4 storeys height.

Skylift Johor Working at Jalan Serampang Johor Bahru

It has been raining for few days and luckily today is a sunny day for outdoor work. Today one of our skylift was assigned to attend the signboard dismantling work at Jalan Serampang Johor Bahru. Again this signboard is huge and it must be dismantled because it is not accordance to MBJB signboard guideline. The signboard looked huge but actually the dismantling work is easy and simple like 123 for the signboard installation crew. It took them only 6 hours to dismantle but i personally think they can do it faster then that, hahah. At around 3pm, we packed the skylift and back home after the job completed.
