Salam sejahtera untuk semua pembaca blog sya. Kali ini saya tulis dalam versi Bahasa Malaysia pula. Sememangnya ramai di antara kita yang berpendapat bahawa kerja memotong/potong pokok adalah suatu kerja yang mudah, namun ia sebenarnya bukan semudah yang kita sangkakan kerana ia memerlukan kemahiran dan teknik supaya tidak berlaku kemalangan yang tidak diingini.
Kali ini kontraktor UTM Johor Bahru telah menyewa/sewa skylift saya untuk kerja memotong/potong pokok. Pokok-pokok itu bukan main besarnya dan tingginya boleh mencecah 20m. Langkah pertama yang menguji kemahiran ialah cara parking skylift supaya tidak terlalu dekat atau di bawah dahan pokok yang cenderung untuk tumbang. Bukan saja cara parking, cara memotong juga menguji kemahiran. Tukang potong kena berada di arah yang bertentangan dengan arah dahan pokok condong supaya dahan itu tidak jatuh menimpa dirinya ataupun skylift yang dinaikinya. Selain daripada itu, tali juga digunakan untuk menarik dahan kayu supaya ia jatuh ke arah yang selamat. Walau bagaimanapun, satu risiko untuk skylift ialah habuk kayu yang masuk boom mungkin akan menyebabkan boom 'jam', jadi adalah menjadi tanggungjawab operator skylift supaya parking skylift dalam jarak yang selamat dan cuba elakkan boom daripada menghala lebih daripada 60 darjah. How Height Actually a 15m Skylift can go?

Good evening to all of my blog readers. Today i want to share a rule of thumb instead of job which might beneficial to many people. I think a lot of people might want to know how height is 15m skylift actually can go? The answer is pretty simple, it can go 15m height!! Hahah.

But practically, sometimes we actually don't know what size of skylift need to be rented to suit the particular job height in order to minimize the rental cost. By simply seeing the building for example, actually one quite difficult to predict the height of the building unless you are experience guy. This article is to introduce a rule of thumb of calculating a building's height.

The rule of thumb goes like this;
 Multi-storey shop = 12ft/storey
Let say four storey shop building the height should be = 12ft x 4 storeys= 48ft
Convert 15m skylift to feet = 15m x 3.28ft = 49.2ft >48ft
Thus, the 15m skylift actually can reach 4 storeys height building, so one could rent a 15m skylift for the job up to 48ft or 4 storeys height.

It has been raining for few days and luckily today is a sunny day for outdoor work. Today one of our skylift was assigned to attend the signboard dismantling work at Jalan Serampang Johor Bahru. Again this signboard is huge and it must be dismantled because it is not accordance to MBJB signboard guideline. The signboard looked huge but actually the dismantling work is easy and simple like 123 for the signboard installation crew. It took them only 6 hours to dismantle but i personally think they can do it faster then that, hahah. At around 3pm, we packed the skylift and back home after the job completed.

Selamat sejahtera semua pembaca blog saya, ini kali saya tulis dalam versi Balasa Malaysia untuk berkongsi pengalaman sewa skylift saya kepada kontraktor bangunan RHB Bank. Seawal-awal 8am pagi skylift oren saya dah berada di RHB Kulai untuk menunggu customer yang menyewa skylift saya untuk kerja-kerja mengecat bangunan RHB Bank Kulai Johor. Seramai 5 orang perkerja termasuk seorang supervisor untuk kerja ini. Kelihatan pekerja-perkerja bertungkus lumus menyediakan tapak untuk kerja-kerja mengecat. Dengan tidak membuang masa, dua orang pekerja naik ke atas skylift saya untuk kerja-kerja mencuci bangunan sebelum mengecat. Selepas bangunan luar dibersihkan, tibalah masanya untuk kerja-kerja mengecat. Dari bawah kita lihat dia orang mengecat nampak senang saja, tetapi sebenarnya kerja ini adalah sungguh memenatkan. Layer demi layer cat disapukan ke dinding sehingga semua siap dicatkan. Masa pun sudah masuh pukul 5pm, kerja kerja mengecat untuk satu hari pun sudah siap. Perkerja-pekerja pun membuat housekeeping dan saya pun menyimpan skylift saya bersedia untuk pulang.

It was a good experience working with Mr. Wesley Koh from Golden Deluxe Plaster Ceiling Renovation Design & Construction at Pekan Nenas for residential water proofing. I personally really impressed with the hard work of Mr. Wesley even though he is also the boss of Gloden Deluxe Plaster Ceiling but he really a Hands-on guy. From the cleaning process until the water proofing using latex, he has climbed up and down using 15m skylift and i really see the effort that he has putting in for the best interest of customer. Even at the end of water proofing process, he spent another few hours to check the quality of water proofing before housekeeping everything and come down. For those who are looking for plaster ceiling and renovation contractor in Pekan Nenas and Johor Bahru, i would highly recommend Mr. Wesley Koh as per name card above.

It was a good experience to work with Mr. SK Ong at Taman Perindustrian Tampoi, Johor Bahru for factory roof repair. 15m skylift was deployed to access to two storey high factory building. As you can see, the zinc sheets are badly corroded and Mr. SK Ong has to remove it and replace it with new one. I really impressed with the hard work and good workmanship of Mr. SK Ong. The work completed in one day with only one manpower.

It is a sunny day. Today my skylift is working at Permas Jaya for signboard dismantling. For your information, under the new rule set by MBJBT/MPJB, oversized signboard which cover up the building windows are not allowed in JB anymore and all business owner have to dismantle/change it to standard size by end of this year, failing to do so will not get the license renewed and the authority will dismantle it and back charge to business owner.

Skylift Johor Working at Senai International Airport Johor Bahru

28 Oct 2015 (Wednesday) - Today was a bit rainy but it never spoiled my mood  at Senai International Airport Johor Bahru with a team of dedicated contractor to install a new Logo at new hangar. Since the ground is covered with epoxy, we have to protect the epoxy layer with canvas sheet and timber blocks before jack up skylift's outriggers. This installation work took up the team 11 hours to complete the installation of 100++ KGs alloy Logo to the elevation of 18m of the hangar building with the help of two skylifts.
